A collaboration with the NBA’s Miami Heat commemorating the 10-year anniversary of their first NBA Championship. The project brought together merchandise, publishing, illustration, and animation—including a zine celebrating the team’s 2006 championship season.
For the accompanying animation, Burnie was drawn and colored entirely by hand using ink and markers. Each individual frame was then animated to create a deliberately handmade, analog feel.
